Pipe volume is exact (V = pi/4 x ID^2 x L). Dry-gas requirement is a planning estimate of pipe-volume turnovers; the real air/nitrogen volume and time to reach a guaranteed dew point depend on residual water after pigging, flow, temperature and method — confirm with your drying contractor. Ambient dew point is live weather data for the location you enter (via Open-Meteo); the depression shown is how far below today's ambient you must dry to reach your target. Dewater thoroughly with pigs first — it cuts drying time dramatically.
