Recommendations follow standard pigging practice and the published selection matrices (Apache, Inline Services): foam for drying/swabbing/dewatering and light-to-moderate cleaning and for tight bends/reductions (light 1-2 bare, medium 5-7 criss-cross, heavy 8-10 wire-brush/silicon-carbide); poly and mandrel cup/disc pigs for liquids removal, batching and displacement; mandrel disc pigs for wax; brush pigs for hard scale and debris; spheres for liquids/condensate; gauging pigs with a plate for proving. Foam quantity is a PLANNING ESTIMATE (typical pig life by density and line condition plus spares) — foam is consumable, so inspect after each run. Mandrel/poly/brush pigs are rebuildable.
