Foam pigs run an interference fit and compress to the bore, so they are ordered OVER the pipe ID. Common bands (manufacturer catalogs / field practice): 1-6 in +1/4 in; 8-16 in +3/8 to 1/2 in; 18-24 in +1/2 to 1 in; larger +1 to 2 in; a squeegee minimum around 3% over ID. Length is typically about 1.5x the diameter (base to shoulder). These are rules of thumb from vendor sizing - confirm the exact size and density/coating with us on the quote.
